Hunter Deeley joined Armitage international in September 2010 after interning with the company for four months. 

Previously, Hunter was an Assistant Language Teacher with the Japan Exchange & Teaching (JET) Programme.  He lived in Oita City, Japan where he taught English at Oita Oginodai High School. 

While in college, Hunter spent two summers interning on Capitol Hill and a semester in Rome studying international relations of Western Europe. 

Hunter attended the University of Virginia and graduated in May 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Affairs and a Minor in East Asian Studies.
